With nearly 16 years of mortgage experience, Nelson understands that mortgages are just as unique as the people needing them. Nelson specializes in first time home buyers and self-employed business owners. Having spent over 9 years owning and operating a construction company, Nelson empathizes with the struggles and unique challenges business owners face on a day-today basis in qualifying for mortgages. He recognizes that mortgages are not a “one-size fits all” approach. Because of this, he delivers exemplary customer service by working alongside his clients to tailor each mortgage to their specific needs and concerns while educating them in the process.

As a young boy, Nelson enjoyed watching his favorite superheroes on TV like Thor, Green Lantern, and Wolverine. He grew up wanting to do good in the world by helping people out. His extreme passion to help others led him into the mortgage world. At the end of the day, nothing means more to Nelson than fighting for his clients to make their dreams of homeownership a reality. While he’s no “God of Thunder”, he’s still there to go the extra mile in protecting his client’s best interests. It must be true that not all heroes wear capes. While his accolades are impressive, Nelson’s main focus has been and will continue to be the strong relationships he has built with clients and lender partners alike.

Outside of work, Nelson spends his free time with his two wonderful children and pets. He strongly encourages you to show him pictures of your “fur babies”! Nelson also enjoys being active in the outdoors or experimenting with cooking up something new in the kitchen on on the smoker.
